Ranch Videos

Our Steers and Heifers live on grass for their entire 24-27 months; they receive no grain, corn or other commodity products – just grass, like they were designed to eat. Once they are up to harvest weight, they are processed by a local, small-time butcher, who processes only a few animals per day. After all, what good would it do to spend all that time raising the best beef and ruin it in a “factory” slaughter house, where 1000+ animals are processed in a single day. We take special care to age (dry) our beef for 14-28 days for a maximum flavor.
We've produced a set of Videos that will allow you to see how we manage our animals on a day-to-day basis. Enjoy...
Our Hogs and Chickens are free-range and move every day, as seen in the picture below. Being free range allows the chickens to selectively graze and keeps the bugs and flys off the ranch. Our hogs are given freedom to range as well, we aim to raise them up to 235 lbs total weight and when they get there they are processed by a local, small-time, custom butcher. We don’t want all our good raising efforts to be lost in a “factory slaughterhouse”, so we pay the extra expense to ensure they are processed properly and humanly – without needless suffering. And, best of all, our products are 100% all natural, small-farm raised - so your money is not going to support "industrial farming", it's supporting a local, environmentally friendly and concerned rancher.
